Maratona dles Dolomites in Alta Badia

The International Dolomite Marathon has been in the last years a dream for many cyclists.
The first Sunday in July thousands of cycling enthusiasts meet after year to climb through the Dolomite passes, which are so important in the history of Italian cycling.
In 1999 more than 6000 cyclists took part, compared to 166 in 1987; the "Maratona dles Dolomites" has become in the last years one of the most important amateur cyclist events in Europe.
Starting in La Villa, the most central village of Alta Badia, the three courses curl along the most beautiful Dolomites passes.
During the "Maratona dles Dolomites" week the Tourist board Alta Badia offers an interesting entertainment programme for the participants as well as fot their companions.

24. MARATONA DLES DOLOMITES: 4 July 2010 The pre-registrations closed on November 5th 2009. The results of the draw will be published on November 19th 2009 in the late afternoon.
