There are still numerous other sports to play in Alta Badia, especially since Mother Nature is completely conducive to sports during summer. Here is a selection of other things to try.

  • Paragliding and hand gliding

    Alta Badia is characterized by optimal wind currents and is a true paradise for hand gliding and paragliding enthusiasts. The Centro Volo Libero Alta Badia (The Free Flight Centre) is the reference point for those wishing to see the landscape from up above. Alex Ploner, champion of three world titles, was actually born right here in Alta Badia, in the commune of San Cassiano.

  • Fishing

    With a daily fishing license in Alta Badia, you can fish in the Gadera River in the waters of the town of Corvara. You can fish from Punt da Bos to the waters of Passo Campolongo and also in the Planac pond. You can get a fishing license at the Information Office of Corvara and Colfosco.

    Instead, in the waters of the town of Badia you can fish from Punt da Bos to Punt da Murin, in the currents that push from San Cassiano to La Villa. You can get a daily fishing license at the Information Office of Badia, La Villa and San Cassiano.

  • Tennis

  • Rock climbing and fixed-aid climbs

Go left along the path towards Vallon di Lavares and towards the Conturines and Lavarella Summits. Go beyond Lake Cunturines until you reach Piz delle Due Forcelle (2,929 m.a.s.l.).
  • Horseback riding

    In Alta Badia it is exceptionally pleasant to go on horseback. It must be the natural landscape that deserves to be seen with calm and tranquillity.
