The Sella Ronda... a breath-taking tour!

One of a kind, the Sella Ronda is a ski tour that stretches over 40 km of woods, rocky areas and long trails of snowy pathways. The trail goes through Alta Badia, Val Gardena, Val di Fassa and Livinallongo, therefore intersecting the three provinces of Bolzano, Trento and Belluno.

More expert skiers can enjoy these tricky ski slopes (the Vallon/Boè, Dantercepies, Porta Vescovo and Gran Risa), however there are numerous trails for less-skilled skiers. Nonetheless, it is important for all skiers to be in good physical condition.

The Sella Ronda can be travelled clockwise (from Alta Badia towards Arabba) or counter clockwise (from Alta Badia towards Val Gardena).

It is recommended to start the tour no later than 10.00 am, and to finish the last trail by 3.30 pm, in order to avoid the cable cars being shut down that will bring you back to the beginning.

Additional information:
Length of the tour: 40 km
Ski slopes: 26 km
Total time uphill (ski lifts): about 2 hours, excluding wait times
Total time downhill: about 1.5 hours, depending upon the skier's ability
Ski pass: Dolomiti Superski
