Summer in Alta Badia begins around May when the snow melts and leaves room for landscapes of unspoiled nature.

The mild climate of La Villa makes excursions and hikes in the mountains a pleasant experience. Thanks to its strategic position, the village is the starting point for many excursions to the most interesting points of the valley, such as the path of the Great War.
You can retrace the journey through the First World War, through trenches, tunnels and the places of historical battles.

Thanks to the lifts system, you can easily reach the peaks of the Dolomites around the village.

It is uncommon to observe the phenomenon of the “Alpenglow” (Enrosadira) in summer: at sunset the Dolomites are colored red, creating a breathtaking and unique panorama.

La Villa is a favorite destination for cyclists of all ages or experience. There are many itineraries to do by bike; from here starts the Maratona dles Dolomites, the longest cycling race in Italy.
