When you stay in the mountain huts on the mountain, you have the opportunity to recover from the stresses and strains of everyday life, immerse yourself in unspoilt nature and taste unique dishes that combine Ladin and Mediterranean flavours. In the refuges, all the raw materials are local, the ingredients are grown in organic vegetable gardens that offer you milk and fresh eggs, freshly baked cakes, seasonal fruit and vegetables every day. A bit like a holiday on a farm, but in a special natural setting, high up on the mountain.
The spectacular landscapes and mountain peaks of Badia stretch out all around. The mountain huts selected by altabadia.it are all located at over 2,000 metres and in a strategic position so that you can hike in summer or ski on the most beautiful and exciting ski slopes in South Tyrol in winter.
